The Extreme Soaker Underpad’s Composition
All our washable underpads boast three layers of quilted protection:
Top Layer
Soft face fabric is a 55% cotton/45% polyester twill for ultimate patient comfort.
Core Layer
The middle layer absorbs up to 11.5 oz. of fluid—almost double that of our Economy Underpad.
Barrier Layer
The Extreme Soaker Underpad’s waterproof barrier layer is made of Vintex®. Vintex® protects sheets, mattresses, wheelchairs and/or household furniture. Vintex® is designed to withstand repeated commercial washings and dryings, while remaining flexible and waterproof. It also offers another 7 oz. of absorbency.
