The Underpad’s Composition
All our Beck’s Classic® washable underpads boast three layers of protection. Layers are quilted together with a five-strand quilting stitch.

Face fabric is a soft, 55% cotton and 45% polyester twill for ultimate patient comfort.
Core Layer
The Heavy-Duty Soaker Underpad’s absorbent middle layer holds up to 9.5 oz. of fluid. That’s 2 oz. more than the core layer of our Standard Soaker Underpad.
Barrier Layer
Similar to our other Beck’s Classic® Underpads, the waterproof barrier layer is made of Vintex®. Vintex® stabilizes the underpad and helps protects sheets, mattresses, wheelchairs, or household furniture with another 7 oz. of absorbency.

- Face fabric: 4 oz. per square yard 55% cotton and 45% polyester fabric twill;
- Soaker: 9.5 oz. 95% polyester and 5% rayon; five-thread needle punch;
